I'm impressed with you guys, without any examples of his tailoring to discuss you've moved on to deriding his fingernails. Classy.

I find it amazing how the two guys in that photo seem to be taller than the skyscraper in the background.

I wish I had read this before going into "Venture" with Rory. Would have made the red flags more evident. He certainly has a cut throat approach to business. After stringing myself and several other of his students along to form a company here in the states over the course of the last five months he has now completely withdrawn from the efforts of the company and tried again to reclaim his former NYC clientele. It is a shame, as the idea had international aims with makers in many places in the world. His reputation precedes itself and I just wish I'd been aware of the very thing that brought him to my attention was this mirrored experience of Mr. Yamoto's. Several hundred dollars and many hours of planning team building site editing etc. Defend to the end if that's your stake though he does better as an instructor than colleague. Keep him working for you and not the other way around!

I retract the post above. Thank you.

@springlight

Now I'm confused? There's an easier way to retract without the need to for an explanation you know?. Its called the Delete Function.

Separately, I've learned from long experience that people for the most part, do not change. Always more efficient to learn from the misadventure of others. But its "stickiest" when that learning is underwritten by your own pocket.

Visible Pick Stitching on Lapels and Pockets

  • It’s a mark of quality and craftsmanship

  • I like it when it’s subtle

  • I don’t like visible stitching

  • Doesn’t matter to me
