Thanks Jungleroller. Old pair of troos from small time English Chain. Loved the pattern and feel, have the waistcoat too. Troos are battered now and have had to have em patched up as no longer available to buy. I think next step will be to source cloth for bespoke/mtm.


The pattern and weight look great. I've seen some close but not quite that. The ones posted above are great too!

Cleav I think either a solid sock would have gone better or an odd color like a chocolate brown, navy, or grey. Theres a lot of pattern in the trouser and a very similar pattern in the sock. I used to do that in my pre-sf days and I have changed my approach.

No you can pick and choose. I relooked at it and I think there are 2 ways to do it. Solid pants with the sock and shoe. Or with those pants do solid socks. Either way works
