^ Nice place. We bring city schoolkids up there to release trout fry that they've raised from eggs.

Anyone has been to Vanderbilt Museum post COVID, I know Bronx Botanic Garden re-open recently as well (and with reservation only, which I prefer)

and how about Nyack Beach State Park, I think this might get crowded easily though?

I would have thought Jones or Long beach would be both crowded (not in distancing, but in parking, are they 50% or normal parking level)

though I prefer long beach for sure

I'm not sure how full they get but they do have a lot of parking lots.

I definitely prefer Long Beach, but earlier in the season they were restricting it to residents only. Not sure how much they have loosened that.

random update, Vanderbilt Museum was pretty good, you can distance pretty easily, at least 2 weeks ago...

I don't think I mentioned it, but we went up to Storm King a few weeks ago and it was really easy to social distance since there is so much space. We left before we could see everything though as my girlfriend couldn't take the heat.

Damn, New York. 63rd and Lexington is a pretty nice area. Have things changed that much since I've left NYC?

man, NYC just eats up cars that street park. I thought the winter would be the rough spot, but in the summer it's all the burnouts and their U-Hauls trying to navigate and park for their move out. Those trucks just end up swiping along thoughts of cars and their side view mirrors. Note that I've been seeing 5-6 moves out for every move in (yes, I've been paying attention each time I take the dog out).

And what's with people leaving trunks open then just walking away? Saw it twice this weekend, and these were by far from the first for the summer. Obv has to be by accident, but you can always count on seeing it 2-3x a year.
