Nope. Way too big. Even if they did fit the thought of having to break them in is awful.
You turned into a wuss somewhere along the line. Also, big, baggy denim is really fun and comfy to wear.

I think he mentioned the dislike for heavy denim when I told him I've seen momo tapered when he said momo doesn't make tapered denim. He said heavy denim was just not realistic or something. I remember spending literally 15min in the dressing room in BiG trying to button up the 18oz momo natural tapereds and never got them to button. I can see where the guy's coming from and admire that his tastes are so particular, as reflected in his buys, which is all you can ask for as a customer.

Which toe, structured or unstructured, is better on leather derbies from artisanal brands like Guidi, Carpe Diem, Layer-0...I am leaning on a pair of unstructured, but I don't know if they will age well.

A little late to the discussion, but no matter what you think about LN-CCs buys nowadays, visiting their "store" in London is seriously great. Supercool location and the girl showing me around was so nice calling her just a SA almost feels degrading.

Also, at what other store could you find 2 of the models from the website standing in the alley outside wearing head to toe cool stuff and taking a smoke, looking like a scene taken straight out of a lookbook

I love denim, but denim heads can be the friggin worst.

Honestly, probably most. I get the impression the majority of webshop models are just SAs from the store.

The guys at Railso have been awesome, 20+ emails later and I bought some raw denim DH jeans for cheaper than any store I've come across. Top notch customer service.

Fair enough. It still looked very cool though, and I probably wouldn't have found the store if they hadn't waved and asked if I was looking for the store hah.

x-post from hair-thread because I don't know how many here visit that thread and I'd appreciate any tips I can get

Anyone have any tips for making hair behave and look similar to how it looks after drying it with just a towel out of the shower, after it has completely dried?

Basically my problem is that it looks great, textured and a bit messy while it's still wet, but once it's dry it's lifeless, straight and boring.

I'm still eyeing a few pieces from last season, but then I'm going to attempt a 2 year ban on purchases.

Exceptions:
- Existing store credit
- B&M purchases if I'm traveling
- That damn olive parka from NMWA

Deluding myself?

Maybe pomade? American Crew makes good stuff. I think last time we had this discussion @artishard116 said he used it

american crew is good if you have straight hair but you'll need something with a bit more hold if you have curly or wavy hair.

Sounds like you're looking for something lighter, actually. If you're slicking it back and not liking how flat it feels, ditch the pomade for a while and try something with some volume. Use a texturizing cream while it's still damp, and blow dry while running your hands through it. Finish with hair spray or a lighter-hold mousse or paste. I recommend Bumble&Bumble for everything, but I'm sure there are other products to try.
