using the word crafted in an attempt to sound artisanal or sophisticated has to be some of the dumbest **** ever

there is no reason to use it unless something is actually ******* crafted

Can somebody make a comparison of Ventile for me?
Obv it's lightweight, but does it feel thick or substantial at all?
I've had lightweight pants before that I returned because I basically felt naked (outlier OG's) and they worked as shorts but I want my pants to have some weight to them, to know that they are there.
I'm looking at some OAMC and some old W+H that are both ventile and I don't really know what to expect.

The second and third parts of that definition seem somewhat the same to me. Don't know why the first part is necessary. If you include it, the story of minimalism becomes much smaller in scope, and you lose a lot of interesting history.

That said, Rosenrot's post is infinitely smarter than mine, so I should prop pipe down.

I think those are good points, and I'm no expert either. Thanks for indulging with the convo. Cheers.

do you mean what does ventile cotton feel like? it's a high-density weave so it's fairly substantial, at least the ventile cotton that I've handled, which has always been on outerwear. i would imagine it can come in different weights though, but not entirely certain. sure someone else can weigh in.

Cocostella, sizing is one size down from you Nike size. I wear 44 or US10 in most Nikes and 43 in Eytys.

ideal banner would be stitchy in sprezzed out cm, synth in a nice middle of the road fit, you know the **** he used to do before like denim, slutty t, coat/jacket, jelly boots, and spope with some black-market-dealer-from-the-future fit, I'm talking 5 layers minimum here

all either in-file crossing road a'la beatles album, or hands covering mouth, eyes, ears in front of police line-up wall

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
