im pretty sure a couple of homos just tried to force a baker to make them a cake and the supreme court ruled against it. There is a difference between acceptance and mandating that everyone agree and like your lifestyle. Part of being a harmonious society is actually accepting that others might dislike your choices in life and don't agree with your lifestyle - but you can still respect and treat each other with fairness. America is about the freedom to live your life the way you want to, not to force everyone to accept your way of life. The way netflix does it, is not subtle whatsoever - there is always offhand remarks related to the LGBTQ scene, which feels forced and out of place in their movies. It has made media become unwatchable and unenjoyable since its pushed so hard down our throats.

The current movement is trying to normalize it to the point that "heteronormative" society disappears and is replaced by this world where little kids can become trans and its seen as normal. Its despicable. As you put it, we have had many societal shifts in opinion. You can even see it with the photo people used to ridicule me. Before this community thought it was funny to make me look gay with another man in a photo from 2011. Now its so shocking if I dare reveal I don't like the random gay **** in movies!!!! Pure hypocrisy, since everyone here is a normie that just follows societies dogma like a class lecture.

You do realise that you don't have to watch Netflix if you find depiction of everyday life unenjoyable?

Vuarnets: yay or nay?

Is turtleshell not worth it now that it is made of plastic?
I have somehow gone nearly two years without losing mine. lenses aren't scratched at all and have taken a beating. I love em cause of the lens itself but otherwise still into them.

Please just limit the incel guy’s account to CE, and we can go back to talking about fashion and nostalgia.

I can see this happening to me too. Just need to check if there are any of those weird ones with Eyes lyrics on them still.

Have been looking at Vuarnets just kind of for fun recently. They are definitely premium priced (though maybe it's the kind of thing that there are deals on if you look?). They are plastic and not acetate, eh?

Some cool/classic shapes.

Pretty sure I had a pair of those rounded cat eyes in, maybe, middle school? Who bought those for me? Should have kept them. Who knows, maybe they were knockoffs, but I definitely remember Vuarnet.

Considering getting a pair of the Shuron Sportivos:

Unless I go all in and get some of these Dom Vetros (thanks @OccultaVexillum did not know about these!)

Or maybe no new sunglass. Maybe that's better.

I've been really into Jacques Marie Mage lately. Made in Japan frames that kind of combine LA car culture with some oversized 1970s vibes. This is a pair of frames they did with Hopper, a new menswear accessories brand headed by Dennis Hopper's daughter. The accessories are inspired by things from Dennis Hopper's life. IIRC, these frames are modeled after something in Easy Rider.

They tend to be big, thick, and oversized. Kind of sleazy looking, but in a good way I think. Would go well with Visvim, RRL, SLP, Margiela. Almost anything fashiony except for modern minimalist stuff (e.g., COS).
