What was that random other e-shop that carries Niche again? (not NMWA).

Best sub 50 dollar eye cream? And any recs for body lotion?

I dont use eye cream but feel like i should start, Wnat something that treats dark circles and wrinkles. As far as body lotion im looking for something hydrating that lasts. Currently was using das boom but its just not hydrating enough. Switching to Kiehls creme du corps

Kiehls make some Midnite eye stuff that seems to work: https://www.kiehls.com/skincare/eye-creams-and-treatments/midnight-recovery-eye/100016.html

Morning stuff: https://www.kiehls.com/mens/age-def...DDPtxj4WyAanZSqjdl5t3FcyU_Gw8dSBoCt0kQAvD_BwE

Alpha Shadows in the UK does. And there’s a Korean one (can’t remember which) that had by far the best selection from them that I’d seen

Do you see any sign of brown showing through the black finish on the shell? I've never gone with black shell, but would just for that effect it happens. As far as I know, cordovan is not dyed through, so there should be a brown core in there somewhere.

Yep, I see some brown showing through in direct sunlight only: parts of the quarters of both boots. I get the sense that there's no guarantee which panels will do it or to what intensity--the vamps are not changing so far, and one quarter is much more brown in direct sunlight than the others. Definitely a cool effect as long as you're welcoming of the wabi sabi nature of it.

Who makes nice serving ware? Like platters and stuff you can put meat and cheese on where you force your guests to sit through a story about where it comes from and did it have a happy life

Not looking for the fussy fragile French stuff but something more rustic and American, like Paul Bunyan but with HRC 63 steel on my cheese knife

Doppio by Felicia Ferrone is really nice, but it's expensive.

They have more affordable wood options, but wood can pick up smell and flavor over time more easily than other materials. Ferrone's is made from maple too, which is a little more porous.

Otherwise, maybe Crate & Barrel? They have some nice looking things that aren't too expensive.

Heath Ceramics isn't really right for cheese, but it's very much "Paul Bunyan, rustic American" with a good story.

Some other Bay Area ceramic makers

Been using Mario Badescu for a long time. Only thing I kept from Kiehls was their exfoliator. Everything I changed to this brand, their really good.

What are y'all thoughts on jumpsuits? I bit the bullet and kopped a JJVE one in cotton/linen for the approaching death heat of an Australian summer, and I gotta say it's pretty sick. Comfy and easy to wear. Looks pretty good and it's actually garnered a few compliments (and some jokes). I'm considering getting another, if I can find another one that looks any good.

Any tips or rec's for them? I'm in and I'm loving it.
