When you’ve been it all your life you barely sweat anymore I have to be running around to sweat…but man I def prefer to sweat than feel cold. I say this with a pool at the ready and the beach 5 min away though
If you are cold, there are sweaters, jackets, and warm shoes. I hate sweating unless I am exercising.. Just hate that feeling. My rule is that if you can't sprint a full city block wearing a light jacket to catch a bus without sweating, it's too hot.

43 is time for my “winter clothes” bro haha. It’s a nice change though I won’t lie (even though I don’t like it) it gives me the chance to buy outerwear and actually wear it. As a person who’s tired of going to Orlando …and now more than ever with a toddler you aren’t missing much there unless you like the parks. Funny enough my lady has been bothering me for years for an authentic Christmas up north with snow the fireplace the bear rug…etc etc

That last paragraph was the funniest thing I’ve read all day thanks for the good laugh haha. When you’re down here just asume everyone can speak spanish haha. My mom looks like a German blonde lady with green eyes…from Cuba but there’s been so many times that she’s had trash talk thrown her way only for the person to be pikachud face when she responds
Yeah I can imagine that feeling freezing when it's humid all the time. I'll keep Orlando out of mind though.

Tbh, I've never gotten used to the cold here, nothing like the Finnish guy in the tank top. Most of us just pretend it's not cold and make self-deprecating jokes.

I do think it's easier to warm up when you're cold, and shed layers as necessary.

With humid heat, I don't know that there's much you can do. Can only take off so many layers too until there's nothing left.

Any places you recommend for relaxation or nature/scenery in Florida? Seeing wildlife comes to mind for me.

I can't help with the authentic Christmas recs tho.

Too hot for underwear most days haha. Well
The obvious would be the Everglades, but there’s also The Dry Tortugas (Fort right outside Key West), Blue Spring State Park, Crystal River etc if you love nature can’t go wrong with those
