I really like those Kap ghurka pants on you. How tall are you? Looking online, those pants seem to have a very short inseam... ?

I’m 6’0” and got size 4. They actually had a very long inseam, and I had them hemmed. You might be seeing numbers that measure the inseam when they’re cuffed with a huge cuff. I gotta say though, even I was thrown off by how baggy they are when I first got them (bit more and we’d be in JNCO territory).

On the non-denim thing, I have been wearing Dickies a lot lately, and they are comfortable and good value. And you sort of look like you are going to do actual work…

I stacked all the pants I own just to see if I actually have as much denim as I thought I did. I got 7 pairs, a new raw one from Black sign, some vintage lee's from the early 60 that are shredded, another pair from the 70s that I put patches from every state/country I go to, some tender co wide boys, some mister freedom midnights, some wide SDA I should sell but I'm lazy and finally some kapital skeleton denim thing. Does century denim count? cause then you can add 3 more to that I guess. Does giant oversized overalls count? because I do have one.

Is that too much? haha I love denim, and denim adjacent **** tho

Wanted to add, does anyone know a good method of removing sweat stains. I wore my nigel cabourn turtle neck one day I was running around town, put in a box, shipped it here, and realized it has some nasty sweat stains all over the neck. I would generally take it to my local dry cleaners but I don't know any decent ones here in NYC yet.

What's the fabric?

You may be too late, some fabrics will never give up a sweat stain, but if not, try a two step process of 1) use a mix of vinegar/water/dish soap (4/1/1) to cut through and remove the original sweat and oil - apply to the stain, let it sit for 5 minutes or so, then scrub gently with a toothbrush. 2) soak the garment in oxy clean over night, then wash as you normally would.

I've had great luck getting stains out with OxiClean, but I've only used it on cotton fabrics. Not sure I would use it on wool.

Luckily it's only waffle knit cotton, it's one of my favorite turtlenecks so I hope to be able to remove the stains. If it's too late, I might just dye it somewhere, I'm sure there is somewhere in NYC that has a workshop or pay to do some natural dying. I definitely need to be more preemptive when getting working on these sort of stains.
