135GBP for "elevated" style, Lolz. We're talking about espadrilles here, you buy these near the beach and throw them away at the end of summer.

I see someone else has posted similarly priced horrors. You guys need to get out of the internet it is messing with your brains (morans!).

here's my rec:

Finally someone said it!!1! While we're at it, I'm so sock of morons who buy bespoke suits. Like how many funerals and job interviews do you have?!? I own one suit and it's from Goodwill and I never need it because I'm gainfully employed at Enterprise Rent a Car and haven't been to a funeral in years!!

Does anybody have recs for some off white/cream suede espadrilles?
I’d go for castaner but can never seem to find suede ones in the Pablo and I don’t like their other styles. The only other option I’ve found is yoox house brand but they didn’t fit. I’d like to be in the castaner price range too.

Light grey option here, think they look nice

Words and phrases I’m sick of here:
it’s just a (t-shirt, pair of sneakers, jeans, etc.)
it’s overpriced
it’s overhyped
the woman’s collection is so much better
the 20?? Collection was so much better
it’s bad cause it’s made in (insert country)

Morjas is another option. Slightly thicker sole, which at times I like and at times makes them look like women’s wedge espadrilles.

I'm off to Brooklyn fools! I accepted the job. I hate working overnights but I will deal until I find something cool in the future, I loved Japan but at the end of the day it will be there after I'm sick of it and return to farm rice or something. Life is too short to not see out all the opportunities laid out to one.

So... wearing one colour a day: liberating, fun, cartoonish, attention-seeking... or what?

That's basically part of the project of modern (not contemporary) art anyway (remove/mess with one variable like say perspective to bring a new way of looking) so not very surprising it comes from an artist. Not that I'd do it for dressing though.

How do people rate the Guardian fluff vs the NYT fluff* btw (for readers of both obviously)?

*Fluff is stuff like this article or quirky dating articles or this is the new trend on instagram and tiktok and here's why. Often written with a wink to the reader saying we're both bright people at a distance from this even though we're neck deep in it. Usually coded as female-centered stuff. Fluff like deeply stupid OP-eds by cringe ameridad (who like war criminal David Frum and cringe corporate stooge Ted Cruz was born in Canada) David Brooks are considered deep-thinking about the issues (tm) in some circles so not fluff.

I consider the Business section fluff.
