I’ve been giving my Rancourts a lot of love recently and have two custom pairs on order. Flint Kudu Byron boots over the Christmas holiday, new Read boat shoes around the house until it warms up outside and snuff suede Byron boots for today, along with a watch shot. Have a great weekend gentlemen!

Looks great!
How would you compare the Byron last/fit to the Higgins Mill 1757 last??

@stook1 @Garrister @DG123 thanks for the sizing advice.

I emailed rancourt and they suggested 9.5, increase width to E if I prefer a roomy fit. Since sockless loafers are supposed to fit snug and I have low instep/low volume feet I'll try 9.5D and just return/exchange if they don't work.

Today is Fat Tuesday. I think I can find purple, green & gold in my Ranger collection.

I've recently received a pair of the black pinch penny loafers. Its soft CXL upper, lightweight flexible camp outsole, and contrasting color moccasin stitching makes for a unique offering within the world of penny loafers.
Regarding fit, my size-width for this pinch penny is the same as for the Rancourt Eastport model.
For anyone wanting a lightweight loafer suitable for wearing around the house and, or as a driving shoe, I recommend this model.

I got the derbies as well. Have you gotten any kind of update on your order?
No updates. I have zero expectations about delivery dates. Currently have a custom pair of Rangers on order since June with latest promise they would ship last week, they didn't.
Not worth getting upset, they will get here when they get here.

Those with Rancourt pre-sale experience.. do they tend to fill early, late, right on time?
I have participated in every pre-sale over the last few years. My pre-sale orders have usually been spot on. The only shipping delay I personally have experienced was during the recent year-end sale -- which took about 13 to 14 weeks. About a year ago, they used to quote a delivery times of 8-10 weeks on made-to-order styles and they extended it to 10-12 weeks -- and I did not notice that change when ordering (not that it really mattered). So, my experience over multiple orders has been "on-time" in general.

On the other hand, both times i participated in the pre-sale, the shoes came well before the projected shipping date. In one case, they came almost immediately.

I ordered the Carolina Brown Read Boat Shoes, and the Natural CXL Beefroll loafers. My loafers have already been delivered.

When I ordered during their first pre-sale, they arrived a few weeks after the estimate. Unfortunately, so far both times I never received any update regarding shipping and tracking. But it's worth dealing with the minor issues to get quality footwear for these prices. I'm now at 4 pairs and am more than satisfied.
