They are shoes, they'll be fine. Prolonged use like this won't be good, but a handful of times isn't going to hurt them.

exactly what my bud @jischwar said... fwiw, I just wore my natural shell ranger mocs for about 7 days straight (not planned but rather got sort of stuck with only one pair while on an emergency trip). No shoe trees, etc. They are totally fine. This is really not a thing to be worried about once in a while.

I have the exact opposite concern, which is that I have far too many pairs that don't get worn often enough!

Congratulations. That’s a beautiful classic. What kind of sole?

Thank you. It is a vibram 403 mini-lug. The stock heel was not available so Rancourt used a mini-lug heel too. Looks good and will be versatile, at least for what I wear.

I was lucky to get my Black Friday purchase right before New Years. I’ve been using as a house slipper and love it. I’m looking forward to some warm weather use, probably around the time my crowdfunding order arrives in a few months!

IME with my own Chromepak sole pairs yes they can be worn outside no problem, although they do tend to wear down much quicker than a standard leather sole and things like gravel and loose rocks can chew them up pretty good. I wouldn't expect more than half a year or so out of the sole if you're wearing them outside pretty consistently.

Agree w this— I love the Quoddy version and have wanted to try the Rangeley too. The way the chromepak forms around my foot is wonderful.
