I'll see your green shell loafers and raise you GREEN Rancourt CXL loafers...

Those are green, just so you know. I have a pair of RL/Rancourt boat shoes that were this color. I couldn't pull 'em off and they sat in a box unworn for about 2 or 3 years before I ended up dying them. I can tell you that while on the one hand the leather takes dye surprisingly well, it really wants to be bright green. They are a deep brown now and I enjoy wearing them. :)

By the way, on a more serious note, I just realized that you had noted that they are CXL. Are you sure? I don't recall thinking that mine were CXL but that might explain why they were so difficult to dye.

Color 8 CXL beefrolls have landed. Got the matching belt as well.

The details on this one seem better than my Eastports. They don’t have odd discrepancies in sole shape and size. It will be some time before these get worn outside as I need sole guards to not destroy the soles in a month.

Rancourt went AE on me and only included one shoe bag. Luckily I have some Alden and AE spares laying around.

Those are gorgeous, if you contact Rancourt's customer support, they will gladly send you a second bag. They are pretty awesome.
