Ralph Lauren Purple Label Jacket Very Tight

Hi there. I can wear Ralph Lauren Purple Label cardigans in a medium even though I would normally wear a large and it has fitted me well, so recently I purchased a large Ralph Lauren Purple Label Jacket and the fit feels like it's 2 sizes too small as it very tight on. Now I don't know if this is how it's meant to be or what. I do workout so i'm not as slim as the model in the link below wearing the same jacket but other mediums RLPL do fit me fine.

RLPL sizing is all over the place, especially when it comes to casual wear. It fits the way it fits. If it’s too small, just return it.

I asked a few of friends how it looks on and they all seem to like it. I will keep it, I just wasn’t expecting it to fit me the way it did.
