Back from the tailor. Had the sleeves brought up, and the martingale buttons moved to bring in the sides approximately one inch on either side.Happy Holidays. So, Bloomingdale's had a sale, I purchased this Polo RL camel coat. Size 42 (last size available), made in USA (I'm guessing a newer version). I'm thinking it's a classic full cut, but without it wearing me; arms look/feel a bit long though, I may look into having this adjusted.

My almost six-year-old daughter took the first photo of me in front of the tree...

No, no coat is worth the price of a solid used car. This is madness, a bespoke coat from Savill row, camel hair, comes to about 5k-7k. This is now just getting ridicolous.I really like this Purple Label, but is it worth 10k?

+1. The Purple Label markup has always seemed ridiculous to me. This is one of the more egregious examples. No, no coat is worth the price of a solid used car. This is madness, a bespoke coat from Savill row, camel hair, comes to about 5k-7k. This is now just getting ridicolous.
It's both not worth it, and also imo not as good of a polo coat as the PRL line.I really like this Purple Label, but is it worth 10k?

you can find good deals on ebay. i got a RLPL 100% cashmere polo coat a few years ago for ~600$ shipped. there were some moth holes but i went to the tailor and it's good as new! tbh it's an insane deal cause with today's inflation that would be just enough to get you the cashmere fabric if you were to go the bespoke route.
