I have a dress shirt that fits pretty nicely except for the fact that the sleeves are a bit too long. Is this a relatively simple thing to fix?

A simple search turned a couple threads saying it's not simple, but a decent tailor should be able too.

Cheers,

A competent tailor can do it.

As JG said, it is not simple, so it won't be cheap.

I think mine did it for 15-20$ a shirt.

EDIT:

How much longer is the sleeve? You might want to try moving the cuff button closer to prevent it from hanging so low.

Depends on where you live and what your tailor charges. I would think 20-25 bucks. Best thing is to do it from the sleevehead, assuming the upper part of the sleeve properly fits the arm hole after it is cut.
