question about darlton wingtips sizing

i have some questions on the sizing for the polo ralph lauren darlton wingtips.

I noticed I have only ever seen these shoes sold in a medium (d) width ? do these shoes come in a wide (W) width ?

also, I am a size US 10.5 in nikes. what size do you suggest I take in the darlton wingtips ? thanks.

i havent seen darltons in a wide fitting. they run true to size. im usually true to size in nike, go true to size in darlton

A search will turn up several threads on Darlton sizing. They only come in medium width. I personally take one size down from my Nike size (11.5 in Nike, 10.5 in Darlton). 10.5 is my standard dress shoe size. Some say the Darlton runs large, but that has not been my experience, and generally those that feel it is large do not feel it is a full half size large.

Note that the wingtips run slightly larger than the plain toe Darlton.

The Darltons run true to size but with a bit extra volume, IMO. Unless you're really wide they ought to work in your normal size.

Normal size. Even if they are a big snug they will settle in. Mine took a long time to break in but I'm glad I didn't size down. I'm an 11.

They do come in E (wide) fitting. I have seen them in the store here in Singapore.Maybe you can check with the RL stores.
