Technically yes, the OG was that she ended up winning their respect by fighting with them to defeat an alien horde. The sequel comics explore her actually joining them in hunts, etc. It went off the reservation….
I don't see how anyone could make a AvP film without the film being the scifi equivalent to a boxing/wrestling film from like the 40s or something. To me it just doesn't work in any context where it's not poor taste. I just don't see how you can match Ridley's high brow ambitions when he works within scifi with such an absurd spectacle.
I disagree with the premise that following the original AvP graphic novel would make for a good film. The AvP graphic novel sucked balls.
New TV shot spoils even more! You have been warned.

Missed this... Ok, it's been over a good 10 to 13 years since I read it but I remember it being a solid story. Now I am curious if I still have it in storage. Might be worth digging up to read again.

Prometheus Has Landed.
That trailer makes me sort of nervous. It's not enough to tell, but I was hoping for a tone more similar to Alien or just as "off" and this trailer seems to suggest a tone more inline with a conventional Hollywood adventure film.
