Boo to the fake Stowa :p

But that Christopher Ward is very attractive, second only to your extraordinary shirt! :D

How are you feeling these days, boss?

I am doing very well, I'm back to work, low stress (so far) and reasonable commute. I'll reach retirement age later this year. I will evaluate the situation then ... but if I retire I'll have no showcase for my "collections"!
I wasn't even aware of the Stowa brand when I bought it. I got it on eBay a few years back from a guy that builds custom watches. Since the Stowa has no brand name and the identical face how did you tell it's "fake"? It's still one of my faves and always gets "noticed"
About the shirt. just to be clear the cuff is rolled up and you are seeing the inside detail.
Meanwhile the Deep Blue arrived, snagged it for under $300. Very pleased, the only down is the date window, could have done without it.

Thanks Wraith, I picked it up around the holidays during a Jomas shop flash sale for under $400, the original black band was too small...sold it on eBay for $75 and replaced it with a Fortis strap that I had hanging around...goes very well...BTW it is automatic... you guys spoiled me against quartz

Not sure if this will count? It's certainly not at the Seiko end, but it's also definitely not a Rolex / Omega.

I think the Longines Hydro Conquest is an utter bargain in watch land. You get the build of the high end watches, a name with some prestige and history, and yet for some reason, they've remained constant in price for almost 5 years now.

I settled on a Longines recently for a PMW:

And my newest PMW acquisition, something cheap, durable and reliable for an upcoming trip. When I get back home, it will assume gym/outdoors watch duty:
