Been awhile since I read it, but there's a whole bit later about Arthur being glad for his hand-wind watch (being stuck on a planet with non-24 hour days).

Just picked up these vintage citizens for $25 a piece, NOS-ish condition. I love sunburst dials and prefer no date watches, so these will make great semi dress models once I change the bands (case size 36mm). Ebay seller has a bunch more for anyone curious (as well as many other models in good condition)

My love goes out you, thank you for such a wonderful quot.
If you liked that quote then you should read the book. It's filled with such witty quotes, mostly a satire on the then-society.

Yes! I love that part of the story, haha! In other news, i made a watch strap with scrap leather and Gorilla glue. Haha. My Aevig Huldra Blue on the Atlantic coast in Florida on said strap (zulu):

Love the shape, and seems like a good size for me. Can you let me know the seller?

Has anyone heard of Debert? I've been wanting to get an Omega Seamaster 300, but considering I am finishing up grad school, just got engaged, etc, I am still in the PMW club. The Debert looks like it could fit that itch for the next year or two. They have both a black and blue version of the watch.

Thoughts?

^ Looks like Debert is made by Parnis. Quality is probably not high then.

Here's a (hopefully) better pic of my latest PMW:

My latest kop btw is a Borealis Bull Shark no date in green, replacing my Christopher Ward as my alternate Sub beater.
