anyone own any nice pocket watches?
Can we see this watch? dose it still work? why do you not wear it?I have an old family Elgin that's over 100 years old and winds with a key. Other than that I'm just not into pocket watches.

I would get it fixed, as a hair loom one should respect thou elders and so to what was left in thee's care. I bet it is a wonderful piece. I envy thou, I would still tot it once a blue moon, for a packet watch is never home unless it is on the hip or in the vest. I am drooling in anticipation. I got one myself, she is a decent modest piece I paid 20 bucks for, Oddly reliable on the time considering it is gears and springs.I'll take some pictures when I get a chance. It hasn't worked in decades. I'm just not into using pocket watches even though I like the looks of many of them, but even if I were to carry one I'm not sure I'd want to tote this one around as it's a pretty good hunk of metal. It was my g-grandfather's pocket watch in the late 19th century.
Would like to put a leather strap on this. Any suggestions?
Why not some Vietnamese croc? Seller vydzua on a certain auction site has some hornbacks and other interesting patterns. In 22mm you could even have a double row.Would like to put a leather strap on this. Any suggestions?

I do think the 1963 is best left on its original NATO though...
