I picked up a stainless bracelet for my Seiko SARB017.

I've had the watch for a few years but probably haven't worn it in well over 12 months because the leather strap it came on was a hunk of junk, and I didn't really like it on the thicker, more casual, leather straps or most of the NATOs that I tried so I put it away and sort of forgot about it.

I think the bracelet is a huge improvement.

Any info on the bracelet?

It's the Seiko bracelet designed specifically for the SARB line, part number "D3A7AB".

I saw somebody offering it up on WUS for about $50 so I jumped on it. Honestly though, it's such an improvement that had I thought about it earlier, I probably just would have paid full price through Seiya or Chino or one of the other shops that sell it.

Picked up a cheapie bracelet from my local watch shop. Really like the look. Might try to go for a slightly nicer quality one at some point.

Finally received my new Orient Mako USA in blue - here it is in the wild - absolutely love it!
Very sharp. Does it have an internal rotating bezel?

I really like the Mako USA, but I think my co-workers might mistake it for an Omega. Don't want to bring that crap avalanche upon myself. Maybe for a weekend watch (for those few hours I'm not at work)

Who cares what they think it might be.
Get a watch you like and wear the hell out of it.

Thanks @Michigan Planner - Its an external rotating bezel. Just from reading up, one of the differences from the original Mako is that this version has a 120 click rotating bezel rather than the 60 click rotating bezel of the original. I can certainly attest that the bezel feels very secure.

I'm in the same camp funnily enough - bought it for weekend casual use as I only had quite dressy watches which I wear for work - I had just taken it to the watch repair place near my office to remove a couple of links on the strap and couldn't resist putting it on at work and taking a pic.

Saw a Moto watch yesterday and now covet one. Two thing;s holding me back. I don't really need a smart watch. Only use 1/4 of the features on my smart phone, I know if I buy one, within a month someone will come out with another smart watch that makes it obsolete. Nonetheless the seed has been planted.

The Moto 360 is nice, but I prefer the Huawei, Gear S2 Classic, or Urbane 2 LTE (if it ever gets re-released). I've played around with them all, as I love trying new technology and then flipping it for a small loss if I get bored. I never lose more than $50-100. Just got a new phone the other day (S7 Edge) and I have the same issue, every time I get the next best thing, a better one is only a few months behind it. Smartwatches are definitely not necessary at all, but they're still pretty fun and can be useful in certain situations. Primarily, when I'm in a client meeting or court and I get a phone call or text I can leave my phone in my breast pocket or briefcase and reply from my wrist.
