That looks very nice. I was looking at a few SeaGull models to add a new watch to my collection until I can replace my Daytona.

I'm very happy with it. And quite astounded with the quality. I mean, domed saphire crystal glass - front and back, genuine moonphase and chronograph, ivory dial with lovely details and the beautiful ST19 movement.

And Sea-gull know that they are doing. They are by far the largest producer of automatic movements in the world. And of course they also produce a double tourbillon...which would not belong in this thread :D

Sooo I bought this watch...

Anyone have a link/Link to straps that would go well with it? I'm thinking brown leather of some sort.

This might give you some ideas.

Sorry, the link wont post for some reason. Search threads for "watches, blue hands", there is a four page thread with tons of pics.

Does anyone have any suggestion for a conservative, dressier automatic? Preferably one that would look good on a leather band for a pretty formal/stuffy business environment? Ideally looking to stay sub $150.

What are your thoughts on this Bulova's watch?

Nah, It's got the right design, but they don't look or feel as nice in real life. Kinda flimsy and plasticy when you compare it to a more substantial watch. I know you are looking for a simple design, but there are better ones out there that also do the simple design right. These quartz Bulovas feel like they came out of a Chinese factory and got Bulova stamped on them.

Venus 175 knock-off, nicely executed. Always loved the V175. Been reading some good things about the Seagull. And besides, I am a sucker for a nice column wheel chrono...

V175 Knock off? I believe you are mistaken.

Oops :), good thing I didn't post a pic of my Bulova 96B104 on here.
