Just irksome that some very nice and well made watches are ruined for me by pointless crap.
The technology and precision that goes into an Oris (or any) auto movement is surely impressive but all that input is largely invisible and can be completely negated by poor thought concerning the bit of the watch that is actually visible.

Fully concurred. I have it on my Heuer Autavia chrono.
I hate ‘bicompax’ on that dial though - why? We can see that!
But “Bi Compax” in the dial is a big mistake. Much better dial without it.

Agreed, no need to stamp it on the dial. On the other hand, it's still a nice watch. If we focus too much on singular features which we'd like to have in a different execution, we preclude ourselves to enjoy a lot of models.
