Placement of Double Cuff Hole.

I've noticed that the vast majority of double cuffs have the holes placed in the middle. In my opinion this conceals the cufflink when the jacket is worn.

Turnbull & Asser seems to do the hole almost near the edge, about 75% versus the 50% of most shirts.

I discuss this with client and give them the choice of where to position the buttonhole

I actually specifically prefer the middle of the cuff.

I prefer the cufflink hole in the centre, as it just about hides the cufflinks under a jacket sleeve; whereas, a cufflink hole closer the the edge, would make the cufflinks visible/more-visible.
