I would have rather had the suit they advertised than the one they sent you. I liked the weave as it made it more interesting.
I'm not a color expert but I wonder if a pink blazer is really right for you. Something to think about. The reason I say this is in looking at your photos, especially the last one,
the pink exaggerates the red in your face to an extreme. I think an Italian guy, like the ones you see in Kiton and Brioni ads, can pull off a pink blazer because they have dark hair and skin and the pink contrast works for him.

I'd be curious to hear what your educated people say on this.

I think your right about my skintone, that needs to be lightened for that jacket (I actually use este laude invisiblle fluid makeup for that, and nobody has ever noticed). Not getting the original jacket was a disappointment. Wearing the jacket has passed the three-complements-from-complete-strangers test, and I've gotten positive feedback here, but quality of the fabric and jacket does put me off (the seller sent along the tie in the picture with the blue shirt which I really like, but its polyester). I have a Brioni jacket that is a lime green (i'll post it in todays challenge) which is really great, and that has started me looking for other pastel colors like apricot, peach, orange, and tangerine. These all have a great spring/summer feel about them, saving the darker colors for fall and winter
