Pet Peeve Thread

- Suits that are too big, particularly if the arms come down to the thumb knuckle. I call this the, "I am wearing my dad's suit" look.

- Tuxedo suits. A suit turned into a tux by the Men's Warehouse. Notch lapels, vents....

- Split toe shoes with a suit

- Crepe soles - on anything and everything, especially those giant wedge ones Grenson seems to have gone mad for.


These bother me as well. Especially when they appear on very expensive shoes.

It's surprisingly common. I spotted it on an overcoat that I was admiring on BART this morning.

Jacket sleeves that are too short.
That's what I hate, happens all the time when shopping for clothes. See something I like, but it's nearly always too small.

That's what you get for living in china.

In all fairness, I saw a young man with the label on the sleeve. He thought it was supposed to be there. He thanked me and promised he would remove it.

Don't get me wrong, I tell them to remove it, whenever possible. Nevertheless, it is still a pet peeve.

Too long sleeves... even if its by a cm, but especially any longer than that.
