Conceptionist, I haven't handled those moto pants so I can't speak on them comparatively. I can say that it's a dry feeling wool. Not 'wet'

Anyway, "dry" and crisp would be a good way to the describe the fabric and its really nice so thats good news.

Oh yes I have those motos! They're a dark blue. Not the same fabric but still has that dry quality.
