Does anyone know if there is a way to have Paypal show you how much you took in, how much you spent, and what your fees were for any given month? I mean a simple report that shows you what your total numbers were per month without having to go through and add up each transaction by hand.

I think you can download history and open in Excel. Then, you can do whatever you want in Excel with the data - sum, averages, etc...

Thanks for the replies.

GDL, thats what I ended up doing for now, opening the downloads in Excel and then cutting out what I didn't need, summing up the numbers, etc.

Robin, I found the Reports section but when I try to open a report the page is blank (still has the Paypal header, etc, just no information).

You can customize the fields for download so you only get the stuff you need. You can also use Excel's "subtotals" function which is a very easy way to organize data the way you want to see it (e.g. subtotals per month, or per customer, etc...)
