I tried the first cut grey wash and the raw blacks from FW13. IMO the grey wash fit true to size and the raws fit big.

Anyone has ever tried the first cut jeans ? Any tip on the fit/sizing?

I'm wearing a pair right now!

I usually avoid straight fitting jeans because the cut is pretty boring. However, these are cut really nicely--not too straight and not too slim.

I like to wear them by cuffing them with one little roll. That way, they have a nice taper at the end.

They are true to size: a 32 actually measures a 32.

I'm 6'2" and the 32 x 32 cuts off perfectly (I'm also a 29" in APC Petite Standards and usually a 31" in Acne jeans--if that helps you get a sense of the sizing).

I got a chance to try this season's Broken Twill Prest and the fabric is so soft, almost like flannel.

Just received a Our Legacy six shirt that I ordered last week. I have previously read that they run a bit boxy but I wasnt so concerned since the shirt was on sale and I have pretty broad shoulders to begin with. I also dont like my shirts to be super narrow and fitted.

Tried it on a few minutes ago and its pretty baggy and a bit long even compared to Gitman which I dont consider a very slim fitting brand and I love.

Its not so huge that I could never wear it but its a bit big for me. Has anyone had any luck washing and drying(shrink a bit) any Our Legacy shirting? I normally wash my shirts and hang to dry but if I can get it to shrink just a bit that would be great or is it going to come out possibly damaged or misshaped? I could probably sell it on ebay and break even but the fabric feels really nice and the styling I like a lot.

Should have tried some on since there are a ton of stores that carry OL in my area but never got around to it.

fyi. fabric is cotton and linen

thanks

Not that it will help you at this point, but I size down on my OL shirts. It works out pretty well for me. The mediums fit like the J Crew slim fit flannels in large.

I have seen the 36(small) our legacy shirts at a store near me and they looked quite a bit smaller than the 38 so thought it would be too small. Do you wear the same size in OL as you do Gitman Vintage?

Next time I will buy from a retail store in my area so I can compare better

thanks

BoO (not a fan) is sized small, APC sometimes ridiculously so.

Hard to make definitive statements about OL sizing - it's all over the place. I'd say more than any other brand I buy, it's always worth asking for measurements.
