RIP another bright talent.

Wow. Shocking, I always admired his tailoring & silhouette from afar. Such a young man. He made a really nice suit for Fabio attanasio a while back that I really admired.

Malore is a sudden illness, like a heart attack or stroke. But could be anything. Insanely young! Condolences to his family and friends.

interesting- how does this work now? one can ask different styles from him, or a particular style only through bemer?
Eric measures, drafts the pattern and cuts the fabric then sends the bunch to Florence to be assembled. He doesn't plan on changing they way he cuts so he will only make something in his current style.

What the general consensus on Eric these days - I think early on, most of us here agreed he was still learning to cut. But he seems to have improved since he started working with gallo & now bemer.

But then there are fittings like this one which are less than encouraging.

Anyways, I was just curious - How much is he charging these days? Not that I’m in the market for a new tailor but I’m just curious.

Internet commentary on death:

crazy how young he was, to pass away suddenly. Very strange.

Hmm. Had my coat try on today.

Tailor did nail the overall width and silhouette and length.

Not so sure about the slouch, wide sweeping lapels and button stance though.

I'll be picking it up next week, will post pics when I'm ready.

Also, found some more pictures of the original ralph coat on an actual person
