Dear forum members, La Montagne are planning to come to London end September, beginning of October (to be confirmed) - they have a few customers already, but if anyone interested, you can contact them to make an appointment. CMT cost for suit @1750 euro (1400 jacket and 350 trousers), Coat 1500 and shirt 220 euro including basic fabrics (9 steps by hand).

They carry plenty of books and we have some very happy customers in the Netherlands already.

If you are interested: +39 339 741 0765

You can app Cristian, he is fluent in English, which is fantastic.

Hi - Can you say anything about the process of having a suit or jacket made by them (nr of fittings) and about their house style?

The Style Forum Buy/Sell/Trade (B/S/T) portion of the fourm
Understood, thanks. I'm looking for particular cloth to replace pants with local tailor, who can't source that himself, but learning that regular peasants aren't allowed to buy that in retail.

Has anyone used Fitted for MTO/Bespoke jeans? Or does anyone have recommendations for a MTO/Bespoke Jean maker that is an actual Jean maker? Preferably in the US.

I have never been all that satisfied with the OTR jeans I have, and the custom ones I have from Luxire are fine, but they are just off, thin poor pocket lining material, no angle to the back yoke, details are just off. I also suspect this would be the case going with one of my current tailors, as they also do not specialize in jeans.

I would like to get a custom fit/made pair of jeans, from a place that specializes in jeans.

Sam Wazin makes MTM jeans, though he's not an actual jean maker. You can probably get him to make jeans with your own fabric.

I believe he works with a factory overseas to make them so I'm not sure you could provide your own fabric in this instance

I believe Glenn's Denim in NY does custom jeans, as well as jean jackets or other denim projects.

I haven't used Fitted or anyone else. I talked to Jack Knife at one point, but uh wow their prices.

Another option is Red Cotton Denim. http://www.redcottondenim.com

Designed and Created my own pattern from scratch. Initially for Trousers and now Jackets ....

And captured the entire process from drafting the pattern to perfecting the balance in Muslin cloth ...
