Anyone here read Planetary? Any discussion of an evil version of the Fantastic Four brings the series to mind.

The animation on display is horrible.

You think so? It doesn't look that bad to me.

Animation? It’s like 6 frames a second. Feels like a college project from 10 years ago.

The still images aren't bad. But Jesus they are being cheap with the animation.

Eh, folks loved that cheap 90s animation in X-Men 97.
Based on the trailer, they're going for a blend of old and new, so it seems like the look is a vibe, not a budget limitation. Although it seems like making the Osborns black is what will make chud heads explode, not the animation.

X-Men 97 had far better animation. It's night and day.

from how theyre doing the split screens, it looks like theyre going for a comic-style frame view? It's interesting for sure

Naa. That's giving too much credit. It's cost saving to cut animation frames.

I remember really loving the book as a kid but being perplexed by the movie. One of Michael Mann's earliest films. Scott Glenn, Jurgen Prochnow, Gabriel Byrne, and Ian McKellen. Looks like this is just a reissue of the theatrical release. Too bad there's no deleted footage as apparently an entire hour was cut. Haven't seen this since it came out.

I've watched this episode a few times now and it's magnificent. High expectations for season 2.

The initial trailer admittedly had wonky animation but by the time they reached a few episodes in things vastly improved.

Hope that’s the case with the new Spider-Man cartoon. Right now it looks like a Flash animation project.

Inject this into my veins now.

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
