That's surprising to me, since I've always felt like he was sort of dour and unlikable in his dramatic roles, so I assumed that comedy would be totally off the table. Maybe it's just that he comes across that way because drama is not his forte as an actor. Maybe I will check out Twisted Metal and see how I like him in a different kind of role.I don't think Mackie is good as a dramatic actor. I thought he was the least interesting person in his MCU appearances, Altered Carbon, and Outside The Wire. But he was unexpectedly funny and likeable in Twisted Metal and If You Were The Last. So, I'm not interested in him in serious stuff, but if it's comedy, I'll give it a chance.
Yeah, it was a total surprise to me, too. But Twisted Metal is a fun show, with a solid cast. That's surprising to me, since I've always felt like he was sort of dour and unlikable in his dramatic roles, so I assumed that comedy would be totally off the table.
Tried doing a BSG re-watch a few years back and couldn't stomach it, knowing the emotional rollercoaster that was ahead of me.As I continue through my Battlestar Galactica re-watch, I realize Kara Thrace still makes my boy parts tingle...
I plan on stopping before it gets to the stupid stuff...Tried doing a BSG re-watch a few years back and couldn't stomach it, knowing the emotional rollercoaster that was ahead of me.
Yeah, that would be a hard series to rewatch. I haven’t worked up the energy yet.Tried doing a BSG re-watch a few years back and couldn't stomach it, knowing the emotional rollercoaster that was ahead of me.
Yes…..yes.As I continue through my Battlestar Galactica re-watch, I realize Kara Thrace still makes my boy parts tingle...
Earlier this year, I did a full rewatch….. it’s definitely uneven towards the end. But overall I think it holds up and felt the big reveals and ending were better upon rewatch than when it first aired.I plan on stopping before it gets to the stupid stuff...
Kind of crazy to consider that when the original Godzilla came out, the last atomic bomb drop was in the past the way the Obama administration is in our past.
Damn, now we know how All-Star Superman came about
