I don't know what the f*ck is going on at Disney, but this is nuts
I love Andor, don't get me wrong, but no tv show makes business sense at that price.Disney Reveals $645 Million Spending On Star Wars Show ‘Andor’
Disney has revealed that the cost of making Star Wars show Andor has surged to $645 million after it spent a record $290.9 million last year on filming its second season.www.forbes.com
I don't get it either...That has to be Hollywood math, right? Andor doesn't even have a bunch of CGI, which is how they usually justify insanely inflated budgets.

I’m just glad we are getting season 2.
They could carry on the concept for a season 3 and follow a new set of characters in the same timeline. Just not sure it will happen.
But over $645M for streaming tv series for that? Wouldn’t they be better off releasing as films to recoup some of those losses?Creators have gone on record that season two is four, three-episode mini arcs, with a time jump between each one, the last one dovetails right into the beginning of Rogue One, so no season three.
It’s really strange but after experiencing modern media my reaction is…who cares? Make it Studios and maybe I’ll watch it and maybe I won’t… Sucks to be you…But over $645M for streaming tv series for that? Wouldn’t they be better off releasing as films to recoup some of those losses?
