Anybody come across any golden bear jackets on sale?

Barneys has them on sale. No idea what is left. If Unionmade is carrying them, they will be on sale when their sale starts.

East Dane extra 25% off sale items.

Range is smaller after the sale a few weeks ago. Still some good stuff. Picked up CP x Geller Chelseas for USD324, and IRO Chelseas for USD150. Schnayderman's at a good price too - good shirts.

Unrelated - is it just me, or is the sales season this time particularly on fire? Great for me as a customer, but hopefully not a sign of shops going out of business (obviously not East Dane). Retail is pretty soft in Asia at the moment - maybe e everywhere.

May seem that way, but have not seen any stats to prove it. I have picked up many things this year between 70% and 90% off retail, that my interest at times does not register until at least 60% off. Sad for the industry, but true. That is why I have not even looked at Mr Porter today beyond a perusal of my wish list items.

The discounts, in their own way, will be reflections of economic factors + retail's struggles (in a general sense). Would definitely agree with the nebulous feeling that the discounts have been deeper/quicker this year, hopefully it hasn't been too difficult a year for all the great independent retailers out there.

How does the Lanvin lows fit?

Depends on the shape of your feet. They're long, so if you have narrow feet a lot of people size down one. I have wider feet so I wear TTS on Lanvin.
