Damn. Was not expecting Oregon to be tied with Washington State with 9 minutes left. This weekend has certainty been interesting.

Clemson gave this game away.

Without a doubt they choked on a bag of dicks… but they reviewed the play to make sure Clemson didn't get in on the touchdown pass, but didn't review it on the next rushing play to see if he did? riiiight.
If anything this win only reinforces in the pea-brained Winston that there are no consequences for his actions.

I'd say Washington State has more right to be pissed at the refs (absolute blatant PI non-call on what could have been a game tying drive) than Clemson. You get what you deserve when you play out of the shotgun formation 1/2 yard from the end zone and have a snap sail over your head and later fumble the ball in position to get a late lead with a TD or FG with under 2 minutes left.

So Jameis was in full gear before the game warming up before Jimbo told he to go change out of his uniform... Wtf is Jameis thinking?

There's a reason they call it "pulling a Clemson."

This has been the most annoying part of the weekend. "Clemsoning" is not losing to the #1 team in the country in an away game. Clemsoning is beating said team, then losing to an unranked team.

It's not the fact that Clemson lost at FSU--it's how they did it. IMO, losing 24 yards by taking a bad shotgun snap at the one constitutes an "inexplicably disappointing performance" (even though losing to West Virginia after winning the ACC is the archetypal example of Clemsoning).

Edit: I was inclined to agree with you, Ed, but NK inspired me to look up Clemsoning. If we follow the definition to the letter, what happened to Clemson probably qualifies.

I know a lot of people don't like the broader definition, which is fair. I think it does a pretty good job of capturing the spirit of what happened that night.

^ Precisely. I'm a fan of the broader definition. The botched shotgun snap, botched easy field goals and fumbling in the final minutes after a potentially momentum shifting turnover that should have positioned them to win in regulation.
