Well it looks like I will be ending the month at having purchased 2 pair of shoes while giving away 2 pair of shoes, a sports coat and 1 pair of pants.

Went to BB yesterday to get the wife some shirts for work because of the 2-days-only 2-shirts-for-$109 sale. I almost walked out with some OCBDs for myself. I felt better that I walked out with nothing. Maybe confession: I did take two trou to the alterationist. One was a Mabitex suffering from a blown seat, the other was a pair of trou that needed hemming. I consider this upkeep more than a clothing-related purchase, though.

Hi everyone. Today is May 30.
I apologise for not nursing this thread more attentively this month. It has been a difficult month for me personally.
I want to thank those of you who extended your kind thoughts to me since my reent loss, both here in this thread and also privately.
I appreciate it very much.
As we are now almost at the end of May, it's confession time.
I would ask that anyone who has not yet reported spending, please do so now (I know you are out there!)

Okay, add a third pair of shoes. A specific pair I had on the buy list went 50% off.

OK, made it this month - sort of. I had some trousers altered, but no new purchases.

Mended a couple of buttons on khakis. Did not wear the Brioni SC. Sorted some sweaters for the Salvation Army...

Made it also, but then lost the plot today and ordered a pair of Cheaney suede loafers, Hackett linen pants and two Hackett shirts, plus some shorts and polos from Land's End. I did delete all my ebay searches early in May though. This was a great help in preventing me from buying stuff I didn't need. Would recommend that to other addicts.

I'm thinking I should do this for June, after dropping a couple Gs to fix/expand my wardrobe.

July, however, I think I'll be ready to go somewhere (TBD, going to lurk & read), and start getting a charcoal staple suit tailored, possibly in time for fall.
