I like my Metcon2s if any part of my workout includes squatting or deadlifting.

I also liked my hypervenom 2s if I wasn't squatting but have since switched completely to the Metcons

If i'm squatting heavy, I'm in my Adi Powerlifts.

Nike Lunar Caldra is very solid shoe for gym and training. I am using them for like 6 months now I am super happy with them.

You don't need weightlifting shoes unless you're serious about power or olympic lifting, and more so for olympic lifts. You can get by with chucks or anything that has a firm and flat sole for squatting.

True. The thing is I just purchased Nike All Out hightops which will be used for light running and cardio and maybe even weights (except deadlift and squats). I will be purchasing the Roshe II as well but those will be for lifestyle and I don't think they will be okay for deadlift or sqauts either. So I need another pair I'm thinking.

The common and cheap choice are chuck taylors. Anything with a stable base will work, so no running shoes or sneakers with cushioning. I wouldn't get romaleos or powerlifts unless you're putting up weight that can cause serious injuries.

I have found that the raised heels on my powerlifts help with ankle mobility on squats. YMMV.

These fashion shots of guys with absolutely no calf/ankle are hilarious.

checkout the Metcon DSX Reppers (takedowns), it's a $100 retail and gets rid of the drop-in lunar insole but it seems a good value and the rubber might be more suited for lifting

also, I assume most (if not all) has a Nike+ account, check your email and/or your SNKRS/Nike+ app, they're sending out 30% off pass and it works on both Niketowns and outlets, applicable from 02/23 to 02/27

undefeated got the all-white flyknit racers in early

so glad i didn't have to jump through hoops and go through all of that other release day bullshit to get these (though knowing my luck, these will probably be the widest released racer ever, making my efforts for naught)

the only 3m is on the heel tab, but i thought i'd take pics with flash, anyway, cause it makes the swoosh more visible and i thought it looked cool

Ah, I've been waiting for the all-white Racers for months and didn't realize they had dropped on Undefeated. Looks sold out now.

Still can't find a firm release date for the wider launch. Does anyone know?
