Picked up the launch colorway of the Tiempo Legend VII. Lots of people online were bemoaning the flyknit heel (real Tiempos are all leather, man...).

Have to say, this could be the best football boot Nike has produced in years. Played a game fresh out the box on Wednesday - no hot spots, no blisters, solid fit, fantastic touch. Hopefully the durability of this model surpasses that of the VI (toe tearing). That's probably been remedied by the mesh inside the toebox and raised POC between the soleplate and the leather.

Thought these were dropping this month.

Never mind. I looked it up and I guess it Nike Snkrs/Nikelab and Europe July 27th and North America in August. I wish these dropped at the start of summer or before, they will get too trashed in the rainy fall/winter in the northwest.

usually it's a no brainer but I have the Vaporfly 4% coming in today ($250 running shoe) so I got to resist, I wish the ZoomFly wasn't excluded

maybe if ebates goes up higher than 1.5% cashback today then I may go back to it

Not at the moment but there will be restocks, I think Nike had some issues and stores didn't get all their stock so keep an eye out on RunningWarehouse and NDC. Plus the same thing happened to the ZoomFly and now they're just sitting on NDC practically FSR.

I am really surprised they sold out since they aren't some hyped fashion shoes or retro, they're performance specific racers.


Not to derail the thread but since there isn't an New Balance thread I just wanted to share that the new 574sports pretty nice and comfortable. I am not big on NB but these really got my attention, maybe the colorways just reminded me of bred AJIVs?
