Where are you from? Within Europe you do not pay anything. Outside you can deduct UK VAT and pay the VAT + potential import duties in your home country. You will find what you need at the website of your customs office.

From US. I tried looking it up but they quoted me a rate of 2.9%-4% custom fee, which is suspiciously low.

Edit: emailed them, they said they'd mark the value down

Right! I am after the Short Vest Donegal in a 52 Tan and a Business Jacket in a 54 Tan colour (was a 54 made in this jacket?)

Anyone with any information where I can place my grubby mits on these items?

Kind regards

Good question - there seems to be some strange buying policies from shops in that some have ordered the trousers only some have ordered the jackets only and the Cabourn store only has the trousers and waistcoat

Corniche are the only ones to carry all the items to make a three piece but no good for me as they don't have small sizes

Might be great for you though as Ian and Nina specialise in ordering 50-54 Cabourn items and they are the only shop to show a fullish statement of line

Looks like some of the womenswear has started dropping. Corniche has some but I really like the look of the female cameraman. http://www.lazzariweb.it/shop/produ...=5702&osCsid=eeaab3bcbb35292751b8e6c8e22f9577

I saw the navy women's cameraman at Flannels in Manchester today but gutted to find out that the khaki colourway which looked so great in the promo shots never went into production through lack of orders - I despair at the lack of imagination from buyers !

Anyone witha bit of intelligence would surely realise the khaki version with the higher contrast between the cotton and the tweed was the more distinctive and therefore the more desirable jacket - it was the one I had set my heart on as a present to my wife

Totally pissed off

To be fair to flannels - the head women's buyer did order the Army/khaki colourway but it was the fact that other shops didn't that prevented production

There is not enough contrast between the colour of the navy, in my opinion, to bring out the detail on this jacket

I asked the rather beautiful women's wear manager at Manchester to model it for me and the cut is great - slim, waisted and very flattering to the feminine figure - just lacking in contrast

It's not often I don't recognise a Cabourn jacket - I've never seen this before which makes me think it was either a sample which never went into production or it was an exclusive

The fact that it's a 48 makes me think its a sample as it's Nigel's sample size so Drew can model them

Sorry ignore my last reply to you - corniche didn't order the Tan colourway

Only know of Endclothing who have the tan jacket and the Cabourn website that have the waistcoat

Not sure on the sizes available

Cabourn Tart to Cabourn Slagg !

That cameraman jacket just sounds even better. Would look into buying one for my girl but not really sure it would be her cup of tea. Have you got a picture of the colourway that you're talking about that didn't make it in to production?

Just found some more pictures of the women's line being worn on the Corniche blog if anyone is interested.

You buying anything this season yourself Eric?

That is a great deal on the Mallory jackets. No Cabourn knitwear in the sale uinfortunately.

Cabourn can be had at deeper drops, but considering this is a Mallory it is a good deal. In my experience they tend to sell at this price. If you live in the States you don't have to worry about customs either. I'd jump on this if you're someone who is in the market for one.

The Army looks just like the one I got last year, but the Brown does not look the same as the Black Brown from last year. Too bad they didn't have Black Navy or Indigo. Still some a nice collection of Cabourn at Independence.
