My Quest for "Sartorial Elegance"

Good evening, old chaps. I hope this is ok to post.

I joined this forum a few years ago, but I had no bloody clue about Satortial Elegance. I was a label guy; Versace, Armani, PRL, Gucci, LV etc (even though I couldn't afford them). This forum made me really understand how the name on the garment doesn't matter, as most companies have their clothes made for them by other companies, and just because a suit has Gucci in the lining, it doesn't mean it's the best.

I had never heard of Brunello Cucinelli, Drake's, Kiton or even Borelli before signing up and the last year has been a complete whirlwind of knowledge.
Now, I mainly hang out in the thrift thread, but lurk (and sometimes post) in the fit threads and other related.

The past few months has been an overhaul in my Classic Menswear, I sold/donated a lot of my blazers, shirts and ties. Who needs 30 ties, every one a different colour or pattern,?

I've taken note of Claghorn and his posts regarding staple pieces and rotating those. I now only use 7 ties, which are pictured below (some thrifted, some e-thrifted and the RLPL, Borelli & brown houndstooth cashmere were from the Secret Santa) and before that I mainly had high street, Chinese made ties, also pictured below (I own 2 of those, but don't wear)

I'm not the best at explaining things, so please forgive me if some text doesn't flow as well as it should.
My quest for Satortial Elegance starts with my tie restart, where should I go from here?

Many thanks in advance and for the taking the time to read my post.

Nice ties. (Except for the Borrelli, which you should burn.)

In my quest for verbal elegance, I've swapped "chaps" out of my rotation (except when talking about gauchos). I now address my peers as "honourable members".

When it comes to ties, four colours are the base of my wardrobe: Navy, Burgundy, Dark green and Dark brown. I have them in solid repp, micro-prints and now I'm expanding towards grenadines and wools or linens to give some texture to my tie wardrobe.

I also have other colours (lighter blues, red and yellow micro-prints). Club stripes are also versatile but I've never been a fan.

A green tie would be a nice addition, what do you wear that with?

Also, linen ties sound swish. I've never seen one before, I'll have to check that out for the summer.

With almost everything. Navy and light to mid grey suits (not a fan with charcoal).

Those are linen ties:

Charcoal reminds me of school trousers, not a fan either! Those linens look amazing, I guess they wrinkle like a linen suit?

Well, it depends a lot on the linen. The are of the knot will definitely wrinkle, but the main body will simple hang from your neck.

Forgive my ignorance, but can I ask what about the Borrelli offends to the degree of warranting being burned?
