So I'm headed to England in a couple weeks and decided my itinerary was worthy of a thread to document the adventure. Here's the plan:

Day 1- Land in Manchester. Eat. Drink. Repeat.

Day 2- Train to Carlisle to visit Steed Tailors. Get measured for something...no idea what. Follow up fittings to take place in SF.

Day 3- Football match with @Cleav , which is the primary purpose of the trip. Party. Hard.

Day 4- Train to London. Meet up with Harry from @hnwhite and view his collection of amazing ties. Meet up with @davesmith (Shaya) from Exquisite Trimmings at his shop and check out his goods. Mosey around Savile Row and check out as many places as possible.

Day 5- Going going back back to Cali Cali.

I'm not the longwinded type, so don't expect too much on that front, but I plan on taking lots of pictures. I can hardly wait. It's going to be awesome.

If I remember correctly you're a fellow United fan. Which match are you going to? Hopefully it's one at Old Trafford!

Of course.

I don't know if I can squeeze it in. The trip is already pretty hectic. Maybe if I get bored in Manchester the first day I'll head there, but that's 4 hours on the train RT.

What are you brainstorming for a Steed commission?

SC...haven't spent much time looking at cloths. I'll probably just wait until I get there and pick something from the books on hand.

^ Do you have a color/weight in mind? Any gaps to fill in your collection?

Nothing over 11/12oz. Not sure about color...maybe a green or brown. I don't have a large wardrobe and don't plan on building one. I just want something that will get worn, often.
