. For footwear, I wear TCX Streets, which resemble athletic high tops. I'm also looking to add some Dianese Technical Sneakers simply because I like the look of them.

Hmm, I may skip the Technicl Sneakers and add the new Rev-It Ginzas:

I'm liking the new Stylmartin Indian boots as well.

This bike started off life as a Triumph Daytona 675 which is arguably the best middleweight bike available to the general public. Some might love this build while others will spit at their computer screens at it but I bet we will be seeing more of this kind of conversion in the near future

The Rev'it rodeo boot isn't bad looking either. Brown or black...

It doesn't have speed hooks up top which would annoy me, but I believe that is a fairly simple retrofit.

I dunndunno why I havnt been more active in this thread. Will read it through and post my contributions.

Ive built several vintage customs and im generally into modern customs too. Cafes, street fighters, and choppers are my influences. I also have a small company that I hope to grow, Retro Petrol Motors.

I kind of like the cafe conversion... it is pretty fun looking and interesting.

What I like is that there is no apparent degradation of the bike's performance. The owner has gained the cafe look he wanted while still retaining the ability to spank modern bikes in the twisties.

Yeah, but it does not look anything like a cafe...? One of the most identifying characteristics of a cafe is the tank, that's pretty much the stock tank. And i've never seen a cafe with such an aggressive tail.

It's the motorcycle equivalent of a Fiero pretending to be a Ferrari

That is a bit over the top I think.

I agree that they should have gone further in the conversion, the tank and other bits need to be modified a bit further. But I don't really have issues with the concept.
