Next I have on an H&M flannel, Lacoste sweater, L.L. Bean jacket, same khakis as above and another fossil watch.
I like this a lot better than the previous one. Not a big fan of sport jackets as short as that last one.
Gentlemen:
Do you think a blue blazer needs to have gold buttons? I've had both of my last two blazers made with blue buttons. (I'm not sure what you call the material jacket buttons are made of -- plastic? Acetate? Anyway, the buttons were normal suit coat buttons and were either plain blue or a tortoiseshell that was mostly blue.)
Yesterday my wife said that a blue blazer should have gold buttons. What does everyone think about this issue? It's true that gold buttons are the default choice, I just I figured they'd look a little anachronistic. But my boys had school blazers with gold buttons, and their blazers looked OK. I ordered a set of gold buttons yesterday, but thought I'd get a second opinion from the group -- are gold buttons still the way to go, or has their day already passed? I have no strong inclination, either way, just wondering what the consensus is on gold buttons. Thanks!
Looks like he forgot to fasten the inside jigger button. It might be the picture or stance tricking us out but the DB blazer seems to be pulling in a strange way at the button...
Nice combo, other than that,
Looks like he forgot to fasten the inside jigger button.
