Found my old Topical Times Football Book 1970-71

Parka, boots and longish hair!

Some short hair and a tipped polo shirt (second photo)

These are the only relevant images so skinhead is not really that apparent at the time

I've got all components of Paul Weller's 'All Mod Cons' outfit in the same colours... a really good, simple '68 look.

Inspector, you've got to do the Manowar cover - you can borrow my Cowboy Pant Stretcher.

I’d like to see someone do “The Good, The Bad, & The 4 Skins” back cover. I’ve always wanted to copy Tom or John Jacobs clobber on the back cover but I have a hard time discerning what type of shoes and the exact shade of sta-prest John is wearing.

Actually, i was hesitating between Manowar or Strength thru Oi ! In both cases i have to take an intense course at the Gym.

Seriously, i was thinking of doing the front cover of the album. It would be " The Good, The Bad, and the Inspector".

These ones are bound to get done :

Looks like Jacobs is wearing brown sta-prest, brown or black DM’s, and a yellow buttondown(probably a v-neck or something under that flight, too).

I believe the poster of the challenge mentioned “inspired by” and not trying to make a carbon copy.

From what i remember (my record is in the cellar with all my 33rpm) i always thought it was a charcoal/dark grey sta-prest ?

Well the Challenge rules interpretation is open, could be more or less inspired by, or why not close to the original artwork IMO.

Right!! I figured that he was wearing a yellow button down, probably a v-neck and a green flight jacket. I know that I could post a fit in close approximation or just inspired by what was worn on the cover, but I was just wondering if any of you had a more keen eye and could suss out the actual colors. Honestly the natural lighting in the picture wasn’t all that great, sorta makes the colors look a bit washed out. When I get some time I’ll give it a crack and submit it to the respective thread
