Who's the pink shirt by?

Pink and green shirts are Stafford. Honestly pretty good considering how cheap they retail. Yellow is a Land's End, probably my least favorite as it has a more blousey fit than all the others. Violet stripe one was the only one I bought new and chanced upon it in a clearance bin while running errands at Target. Fit is good, and the oxford cloth is passable but I wish it had more structure around the collar. Raspberry stripe one is LL Bean and a pretty nice shirt overall.

Books, immunizations, background checks and a bunch of other expenditures are eating up my disposable income. I spent ~$40 on all the shirts and 68 bucks between the three pairs of shoes.

I'm going to duplicate this on 'TLGO' in case there is someone lurking there who doesn't lurk here, or vice versa.

Surfer jackets:
My local branch of Matalan has a rack of plain navy blue surfer jackets - fly pockets (no flaps) and none of the MA-1 trimmings. That's closer than anything I have seen so far to the jackets we had in 1967. A nice minimal look for £22.

Harringtons:
I asked Mrs Mystery if I should get one of the surfer jackets and sacrifice my cheapo blue Harrington. "Why not get a proper Harrington?" she said. "A decent one costs a lot of money these days, some of them are three figures!" I answered. She shrugged and said "So what?" So my next question is what brand of Harrington do you think I should go for? Baracuta G9? John Simons own brand? Grenfell? Something else?

I'm open to suggestions.

Been on a bit of a warpath over the last month. Added 5 OCBD's and 3 pairs of shoes to the wardrobe. A pair of non weejun Bass tassle loafers, some grayish taupe Bass bucks with an interesting almost airwair looking sole, and a pair a black Clarks bushacre boots.

Just found out that when I start doing clinical placements in the spring I won't be wearing scrubs, but business casual instead. Trying to increase my collection of passable rubber soled shoes by then.

Clarks Bushacre line are complete garbage.

Does anyone here sometimes wear boots a size up? found a pair of those boots i was after at a decent price but they are a size 12. I feel comfortable in a size 12 seeing as i have a pair of martens in size 12 but im a bit concerned it might make me look like im wearing battleships on my feet seeing as 11 is already big, i know this was sometimes a thing back in the day but im not sure if i can get away with it.

These old boots may be sized a little different from modern boots too, might be worth the risk, i don't see these very often.

edit: measuring my feet again numerous times it appears i am a size 12 anyway, then again i dont think i have measured my feet in about 10 years until now.

The solid rubber sole is definitely no match for the crepe on comfort. They'll meet my needs though as long as they don't come unglued which I hear is a major complaint.
Mine Split on the inside where the big toe bends and then later on the outside. The Vietnamese version are decent.
