Truth. I've also heard it from many interviewers that they appreciated when I was being candid and said, "No, I do not know 'xyz' but I can find it by doing _____". Was I just fortunate, or is that how most interviewers are?

No kidding. I chose my current employer in part because of their complete lack of screwing around with me during the hiring process. I hate that.
