Dear Lasbar,
Do you have any spare Kiton/Brioni tags that you've removed from your suits?
I was thinking it'd be pretty cool if I could sew them to the sleeves of my Men's Wearhouse suit jackets before my next interview.
What do you think & how much would you charge for the labels?

No. At most some subtle white ones sewed at the base of the sleeve.

This tag was white and looked like the inside label on the jacket, I have no idea if it was fake or not but I think making a fake Kiton tag would be the height of douchebaggery haha, especially since hardly anyone would know what it was anyways.

You should have reminded him the the practice of leaving on the outside labeling was popularized by gay vogue dancers in the 90s. He may have appreciated a bit of history.

I think the white tag on the inside of the left sleeve below is what AF is talking about.

That's definitely not what this guy had, though, his was like a horizontal rectangular tag that was on the sleeve and looked like this, except in white:

I hadn't seen tags like this either when seeing Kiton at SFA or NM but I assumed since they were sold in a number of retail sources in the US that the tags might be different. That would be hilarious if it were fake, though.

Chinese men also do this. That is, Chinese men from the mainland; and the labels usually aren't even the big names, just some random Chinese brand with a flashy looking tag.

The last two alterations places I went to for waist suppression work measured me and marked my suit jacket while I had it on with all of the buttons buttoned.

I actually put the jacket on with the last button undone, but the tailor buttoned it before making measurements. Is that normal?
