Here's an open question for the crowd: what would you think about adding a self-fabric belt (with maybe just 3 loops: centre back and one either side) at the waist to a noragi, so it becomes sort of like a very abbreviated kimono or somewhat smart sash cardigan? Too destructive to its inherently simple lines? Or acceptable variation?

I know you quoted Terpo but I think you're talking about NOBDs pictures with his navy tie.

I will always assume NOBD knows exactly what he's doing. I have yet to see something from him I don't like.

I have the NOBD II collar, and it's way too low for my liking. Clapeys collar looks high enough, but it has 2 buttons. I'll have to find happy medium I guess.

Any chance of seeing a bleeding madras shirt range? Or more madras fabrics for the summer? I would really like to place orders for some summer shirtings now so I can wear them if the winter ever ends in NY.

I actually haven't worn it yet to tell you. Just got the shirt on Friday. From just looking at it and trying it on, I am very happy with it, but the real test will be wearing it with a tie after it's been washed a few times.

Any updates on that Italian collar of yours? I am still waiting impatiently for you to update the collar sheet...
